About these pieces

How to choose: a toddler who’s learning letters gets more use out of a Wooden Name Puzzle than anything on a wall. How it’s made: each piece starts as a laser-cut layout. The zodiac layers and the drop board are Baltic birch, and the puzzle is solid wood. The puzzle’s letters and animal shapes are cut, hand-painted, and sanded smooth enough for small hands. The zodiac symbol and its rings are cut separately and stacked so the piece casts real shadow depth. The drop board’s pegs and prize slots are cut to hold up to a full afternoon of play. Nothing here is printed or stamped on top; every name, symbol, or label is cut into the wood itself.

How big are the three pieces?
The Wooden Name Puzzle is about 12 inches wide by 6 inches tall for a name of up to six letters, and the board widens to about 15 or 18 inches for longer names. The Layered Wood Zodiac Wall Art is about 12 inches across, and the Custom Prize Drop Board is about 16 inches wide by 24 inches tall, with the pegs included.
What do I get to choose on each one?
The puzzle takes a child's name of up to 12 letters, and you can name the animals you want in place of the standard set. On the zodiac piece you pick one of the twelve signs and can add a name of up to 18 characters, or leave it blank. For the drop board, you write the header text and the label for each prize slot, and you can add a logo.
Are these safe for young children?
The puzzle has small, removable wood pieces that present a choking hazard, and it is not intended for children under 3 without adult supervision. It suits toddlers old enough to handle small parts without mouthing them, generally 3 and up. The drop board includes small wooden pegs and drop discs, is not suitable for children under 3, and young children should play with adult supervision. Set the board on a stable, level surface.
How long until it ships, and can I order for a date?

The puzzle ships in 3 to 5 business days after approval, and the zodiac piece and the drop board ship in 5 to 7. USPS delivery then typically takes 3 to 5 business days within the continental US. For a birthday or an event, message us with your date before you order and we will confirm the timeline.
