For client & employee gifts

Corporate gifts that don’t get thrown away.

Most corporate gifts fail in the parking lot. A gift survives when the person receiving it would have chosen it themselves, and that usually turns on whose name is on the front. Engraved wood clears that bar more often than branded merchandise does, for one reason: it can carry their name instead of yours.

Three tests before you order anything

  • Would they have bought it themselves?

Not "is it nice" — would this specific person have spent their own money on it? A branded travel mug fails. A rolling pin with their surname on it, for someone who bakes, passes.

  • Does it work without the logo?

If removing your branding makes the object pointless, it was advertising wearing a gift costume. The best case is a piece that stands on its own, with your name somewhere quiet.

  • Is it about them or about you?

Their name, their date, their milestone beats your tagline. The irony is that the more the gift is about them, the longer your name stays in the room.

What to engrave instead of a logo

The recipient’s name is the obvious one and still the most effective. After that, the date something happened: a start date, a closing date, the year a partnership began. A place, if the relationship has one. A phrase they actually said, if you have a good one, which lands harder than anything a marketing team would write.

Your own name belongs on the piece somewhere, just not competing with theirs. On the back, along an edge, or on the packaging rather than the object. It reads as confidence rather than a billboard, and it is the version people keep on a shelf.

Is there a minimum order?

No. A single gift for one client is a real order, and so is a list of forty. Every piece is cut individually either way, so the per-piece price does not move with the count and a mixed list costs no more than a repeated one. Most of the suppliers that come up when searching for bulk engraved gifts start at fifty units, which is a different business from this one.

How far ahead should you order?

Cutting starts within 24 hours of an approved layout, and every personalized order gets a layout to approve before anything is cut — a misspelled client name is the one failure mode worth an extra day to avoid. For a list with a fixed date attached, say the date in your first message and you will get a timeline you can plan around.

If gifting is going to be a recurring thing and not one occasion, the partners & trade side covers repeat arrangements, and realtors and builders have a program of their own with branded packaging and a guaranteed production slot.

What people actually send

The olive wood rolling pin at $34 is the one that surprises people — useful, unmistakably handmade, and it lives in a kitchen rather than a drawer. The layered zodiac wall art at $55 works when you know something personal about the recipient. For a milestone that deserves scale, the custom prize drop board is the piece that ends up in an office permanently.

The wood types guide covers how each species takes an engraving if you want the piece to match an existing interior, and the main business page has the rest of what gets ordered for work.
