What you get

A made-to-order wood piece per person on your list, engraved with what you tell us to engrave. Names, dates, addresses, a place, a company name, a logo. Each piece is cut and finished individually, so a list of forty different names comes back as forty different pieces rather than one design repeated.

Three questions worth asking before you order anything, from us or anyone else. Would this person have spent their own money on it? A branded travel mug fails that; a rolling pin with a baker's surname on it passes. Does it still work with the branding removed? If not, it was advertising in a gift costume. And is it about them or about you? Their name, their date, their milestone beats your tagline, and the more the gift is about them, the longer your name stays in the room.

What to engrave instead of a logo

The recipient’s name is the obvious one and still the most effective. After that, the date something happened: a start date, a closing date, the year a partnership began. A place, if the relationship has one. A phrase they actually said, if you have a good one, which lands harder than anything a marketing team would write.

How many you can order

A single gift for one client is a real order, and so is a list of forty. There is no minimum. The quote form asks you to pick a range so we know how to schedule the bench: just one, two to ten, eleven to twenty-five, twenty-six to fifty, or fifty and up. Choose the nearest one and put the exact count in the note.

Every piece is cut individually at any count, so a mixed list is no harder for us than a repeated one. Most of the suppliers that come up when you search for bulk engraved gifts start at fifty units, which is a different business from this one.

How a quote works, and what is in it

Start with the quote form. Your name, email, and a short note about the project are what we need; company, estimated quantity, the date you need them by, budget range, and decision timeline are optional, and filling them in is what lets us answer in one pass instead of three.

From there it is four steps: we send a flat quote based on your quantity and personalization, you approve a digital proof before anything is cut, we produce the order, and it ships. The quote carries the price and the lead time together, so nothing about the date is a surprise after you have committed.

How far ahead to order

Cutting starts within 24 hours of an approved layout, and every personalized order gets a layout to approve first. A misspelled client name is the one failure mode worth an extra day to avoid. Your quote states the ship date for a list your size, and a single piece moves faster than a list. If your list has a fixed date attached, say the date in your first message and the quote comes back with a timeline you can plan around.

If a piece arrives wrong, that is ours

Our 30-day make-it-right guarantee applies to a gift list the same way it applies to a single order: if a piece arrives damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, tell us within 30 days of delivery and we will remake it free or refund you in full. You never pay return shipping. The terms are on our returns and refunds page. It matters more here than on a personal order, because the piece arrives with your name attached to it.
