About these pieces
A cabin piece should feel like it belongs to the place, not just hung on a wall in it. We cut round, layered mountain signs, a ridge line and pines above a raised banner carrying a family name, a cabin name, or a single word, in Baltic birch, natural or walnut-stained.
The walnut tone goes deep and rich; natural birch stays pale and quiet. Both are layered to ¾ inch deep, laser-cut and hand-finished with a natural matte oil. Keep it out of standing water and direct sunlight. It arrives ready to hang; if you prefer other hardware, say so when you reply to your order confirmation email.
Every order gets a free digital proof to approve first. After you approve it, each piece takes 3 to 5 business days to make, and USPS delivery typically takes another 3 to 5 business days within the continental US.

Will my sign look like the photos, or does the wood vary?
The walnut-tone stain runs a wide color range, some boards drink it almost black-brown, others land closer to honey-gold, and left natural the birch stays consistently pale from board to board. We hand-select the piece for your order once it comes through, so yours won't be a duplicate of the product photos, just the same finish and shape. If you'd like to see a few current boards first, ask before you order.
Can this ship in time for an event?
Each piece takes 3 to 5 business days to make, plus 3 to 5 business days of USPS delivery, so plan on about two weeks from order to delivery. For a housewarming or birthday, ordering three weeks ahead gives real breathing room. Cutting it closer than two weeks? Send us a note before you check out and we'll tell you whether the timeline works.
What if the name doesn't fit the standard layout?
Names of four to twelve letters fit the mountain shape without any adjustment. The name field takes up to 14 characters. For a shorter or longer name, or a different overall size, drop us a message first so we can check the fit and confirm it'll work before we touch the laser.
