A cabin piece should feel like it belongs to the place, not just hung on a wall in it. We cut mountain silhouettes with a name or word set inside the ridgeline, a family name, a cabin name, a single word, in solid walnut or Baltic birch.
Walnut goes deep and rich; Baltic birch stays pale and quiet. Both are 3/4-inch, laser-cut and hand-finished with a natural matte oil that carries no VOCs and holds up to normal cabin humidity. A sawtooth hanger ships attached, one nail and it’s up.

Will my sign look like the photos, or does the wood vary?
Walnut runs a wide color range, some boards read almost black-brown, others closer to honey-gold, and Baltic birch stays consistently pale from board to board. We hand-select the piece for your order once it comes through, so yours won't be a duplicate of the product photos, just the same finish and shape. If you'd like to see a few current boards first, just ask before you order.
Can this ship in time for an event?
Figure on about a week total from order to delivery, production plus shipping. That gives real breathing room for something like a housewarming or birthday if you order two-plus weeks ahead. Cutting it closer than 10 days out? Send us a note before you check out and we'll tell you honestly whether the timeline works.
What if the name doesn't fit the standard layout?
Names in the four-to-twelve-letter range fit the mountain shape without any adjustment. Shorter or longer than that, or if you're picturing a different overall size, drop us a message first so we can check the fit and confirm it'll work before we touch the laser.
