Personalization & Customization

How does personalization work?

Each sign we make starts with you — your names, dates, initials, or a phrase that matters. When you order, you'll enter exactly what you want, and we cut it into the wood by hand. For seating charts and wedding signs, you specify the names and layout. For baby name signs, it's the full name and anything else you'd like (birth date, weight, height).

Can I preview my design before we make it?

Yes. After you personalize your order, you'll see a digital preview before you approve it. This is your chance to check spelling, verify the layout, and make sure everything looks right. We wait for your approval before we cut anything.

What if I want to change something after I order?

Reach out right away — before we start cutting. If we haven't begun work yet, we can update your personalization at no extra cost. Once cutting has started, changes become complicated. The sooner you catch it, the better.

Can you replicate a specific handwriting style or font?

We work with clean, readable lettering that holds up at various sizes. We can't replicate someone's exact handwriting, but we can help you find a style that feels personal and right for your piece. Email us photos or descriptions of what you're imagining.

Shipping & Delivery

How long does it take to ship?

We ship all orders within 3–5 business days — we cut, finish, and pack your sign in that window, then hand it to the carrier. Shipping itself usually takes 2–7 days depending on your location. You'll get a tracking number as soon as it ships.

Do you ship internationally?

Not yet. We ship within the US only right now. If you're outside the US and interested in a custom order, email us — we may be able to work something out.

What about rush orders?

Standard shipping is 3–5 days. For rush orders, reach out directly and we'll do our best to fit you in, though we don't guarantee turnaround during peak seasons (holidays, wedding season). There's usually a rush fee.

How is it packaged?

Each sign is carefully wrapped in kraft paper and packed in a sturdy box with padding to prevent damage. We want it to arrive looking as good as it left our studio.

Products & Materials

What materials do you use?

We work primarily with walnut and Baltic birch — both solid, beautiful hardwoods that hold up over time. Walnut is darker and richer; birch is lighter with a warm tone. Both are hand-sanded smooth and sealed with a matte topcoat that protects the wood and feels natural to the touch.

What are the dimensions of each product?

Dimensions vary by product. Check the product page for your specific item — you'll find height, width, depth, and weight. Sizes are chosen so they work well in real rooms without overwhelming a wall.

Are the pieces heavy?

They're lighter than they look, but not featherweight. A typical wall sign weighs 1–2 pounds, so standard picture hangers work fine. Dimensions and weight are listed on each product page.

Can I get a piece in a different size or material?

Custom work is our specialty. If you want something made to your exact specs — different dimensions, a different material, or a completely custom design — contact us with the details and we'll talk through options.

Occasions & Gifting

Are these good gifts?

Absolutely. We make signs for baby arrivals, weddings, anniversaries, housewarmings, and a lot of other milestones. A personalized wood sign says "I knew you well enough to make something just for you" — which is what makes it feel special.

I want to give this as a gift but don't know what the recipient wants. What do you recommend?

Start with the occasion. Are they having a baby? Buying their first home? Getting married? Once you know the occasion, you can personalize around it — a baby name sign for a newborn, a coordinates sign for an anniversary. Reach out and we're happy to brainstorm with you.

Can you ship a gift directly to someone else?

Yes. At checkout you'll see an option to ship to a different address. Your personalization note stays private between you and us.

Do you include a gift message or packing?

We wrap each order carefully, but we don't include printed cards or gift wrapping. If you want to add something personal, note it in the order comments and we'll try to accommodate — or arrange your own wrapping before gifting.

Returns & Guarantees

What's your return policy?

We stand behind the craftsmanship. If your sign arrives damaged or has a defect, we'll replace it or refund you — no questions. Personalized items are custom-made, so we don't accept returns for a change of mind, but if something feels off, let's talk before we ship.

What if it arrives damaged?

Take photos and let us know right away. We'll file a claim with the carrier and either replace your order or refund you, depending on what makes sense.

Do you offer a warranty?

The wood is sealed and built to last, but it's a natural material — extreme humidity or direct sunlight can affect it over years. We don't offer a formal warranty, but we're happy to talk through care if you have questions.

Ordering & Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Is my payment information safe?

Yes. We use Stripe for all payment processing, so your card information is encrypted and secure. We never see or store your full card number.

Can I save my information for faster checkout next time?

Yes. Create an account on the storefront and we'll securely save your address and payment info for faster ordering in the future.

Account & Orders

How do I track my order?

Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with a tracking number. Click the link to see real-time updates from the carrier.

Can I create an account?

Yes. An account lets you track orders, save your address, and build a wishlist. You don't need an account to order, but it makes repeat purchases faster.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

On the login page, click "Forgot password?" and we'll send you a link to reset it. The link expires after a few hours, so use it soon.
