Every sign starts with a name and a wall I'll never see.
That's what I think about when I'm at the bench. Someone is going to hang this in a nursery, or above a fireplace, or on the door of a home that's just become theirs. I don't get to see it there — but I can make sure it deserves the wall it lands on.
How each piece is made
I work with solid walnut and maple sourced from a domestic hardwood supplier I've used for years. No MDF, no veneers. The grain on your sign is the grain of the tree — which means no two pieces ever look exactly the same, even from the same batch of wood.
Every order starts with a laser cut. I dial in the depth and speed for each wood species — walnut cuts differently from maple, and the settings that produce crisp edges on one will char the other. After cutting, I hand-sand each piece through three grits, then apply a matte finish that seals the wood without masking it. You get the wood. The laser just reveals what's already there.
I start every custom order within 24 hours of payment. Most pieces ship in 3–5 business days. If something unusual comes up — a grain issue, a dimension I want to re-check before shipping — I'll reach out directly. You're ordering from a person, not a warehouse, and that's how I treat it.
What I stand behind
Personalized pieces can't be resold, so I take quality seriously before anything ships. If something arrives damaged or isn't what was described, I'll make it right — a replacement or a refund, no run-around. Just reach out within 14 days of delivery.
I don't accept returns on personalized items that were made correctly. If the name is right, the dimensions are right, and the finish matches what was shown — that's the order. I describe every piece honestly so there are no surprises when the box opens.
Shipping is via USPS Priority or UPS Ground depending on size and destination. Most domestic orders arrive within 5–8 business days of the ship date. I include tracking on every order.

The contact form is the fastest way to reach me. I check it daily and usually reply within a few hours on weekday mornings.
If you have something in mind that's not in the shop — a different size, a different wood, a design that isn't listed — send me the idea. I take on a limited number of fully custom projects and I'll tell you honestly if yours is something I can do well.
